BE STILL
“Be still and know that I am God.” (Psalms 46:10)
Be at peace; calm all your fears and block out the clamourings of the world. You are in the presence of God. Be strong in the knowledge that there is only one all-powerful, all-loving God. Seek to know and praise Him and 'all these things shall be added unto you’.
“He shall cover thee with his feathers and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and thy buckler.” (Psalms 91:3)
Know you that on Him we may call
“His arm encircles me, and mine, and all”
No harm can to us or ours befall
While we abide within His hall
“..... And after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake: And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: And after the fire a still small voice.” (I Kings 19:11&12)
Sometimes the earthquakes, winds and fires of life can seem to be overpowering. In the face of the tempests and turmoils of this world remember to be still and listen for the still small voice of Truth. It is not loud, boisterous nor violent but soft, calm, loving and sustaining. Just waiting for you to hear its message. God is just waiting to enclose you in His loving arms.
“Behold, now is the accepted time; now is the day of salvation: …. for ye are the temples of the living God.” (II Cor. 6: 2, 26)
Right now is the time to listen for Christ's message and to claim your birthright as a child of God. You do not have to wait! Now is the time to make a stand and to declare that you are the perfect idea of God, unfettered by any human condition.
Now is the time to recognise the Lord Jesus Christ as your saviour. Now is the time to acknowledge that our purpose in life is to know God and to be the instrument for the worship of God who is ever present in our lives. Divine Mind is our temple and our being. God's children congregate and communicate within it. Now is the time to rejoice in the love of God.
“If God be for us who can be against us”. (Rom 8)
If we accept God as the all-powerful all-loving Father-Mother-God then nothing can harm us. What comfort this promise brings. It makes the spirit soar to know that we will prevail against all human odds. We are living in the Spirit, in the kingdom of God. We are ‘temples of the living God’.
“I can do all through Christ which strengtheneth me.” (Phil. 4:13)
By knowing and practicing the Christ Truth as taught and demonstrated by Jesus all things will be possible.
“The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:
The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.”
(Numbers 6:24-26)
