Charismatic Churches

i have been watching a very interesting Stan TV production about life in an evangelical charismatic church. Lots of arm waving, shouting, singing and talking in tongues. This must be very uplifting for the congregation, but we must remember that serious pray is done in private. "But Thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly"(Matt 6:6).

" Nevertheless, in church i would rather speak five words with my mind in order to instruct others, than ten thousand words in tongue" (I Cor 14:19). Paul, ever the pragmatist!
