Listen for the still small voice

" ..and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake: And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: And after the fire a still small voice." 1 Kings 19:11-12.

The earthquakes, pandemics, wars, fires and winds of this life can seem overpowering at times. In the tempests and turmoils of this world remember to be still and listen for the small voice of Truth. It is not loud, it is not boisterous or violent is soft, calm, loving and sustaining. The voice is just waiting for you to hear its message,. God is waiting to take you under His wings and cover you with His protective love, to be your "shield and buckler"..

God is not in the author of turmoil of this world. "Only good gifts come down from the Father of lights, in whom is no variableness nor shadow of turning".
