"I "I fear , lest by any means, as the serpent did beguile Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ".
in the Garden of Eden mankind was beguiles by his moral mind to put his ego above that of God. From then on there were " Lords many and gods many": many mortal minds claiming to be gods in their own right. This corruption of our consciousness by our mortal mind gave rise to the sin, disease , death and chaos that we see in the world today. Jesus is our redemption by which we may gain the "spirit of adoption" from God.
