THE MOSAIC LAW IS PAST - LOVE GOVERNS

"the law and the prophets were until John; since that time the Kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it." (Luke 16 :16,17)

"The law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ" ( John 1 : 17). The old Mosaic law is replaced by grace and truth. The two Christin commandments given by Jesus are to love and know the Lord thy God and to love thy fellow man. The first pf these commandments governs our spiritual life and the second our earthly one. It is not for us to judge or apply the Mosaic law of the old testament. All our actions should be based on love.
